Bought 2720SL 2006 and water heater won't turn on

So the water heater I can get working over propane but not over electricity. Basically all I have done is

fill up the hot water tank (turn on hot water until it's done sputtering)

going to the outside of the TM, opening the hatch and putting it to "on" the little switch on the bottom left hiding behind the valve. However it won't work. Any troubleshooting tips? I hope it's not burnt out!

Just above the on/off switch there are two black round snap disks. try pushing each one to see if it snaps. These are over temp protection discs. If that doesn't do it check the circuit breaker in the inverter panel.

where is the inverted panel? (sorry to sound like a moron I looked through the book)

Bob meant "converter panel", not inverter panel. Common mistake, but the factory does not equip the TM with an inverter. For almost all TM models including yours, the converter is under the brown louvered panel, near the floor just outside the bathroom. You either pull off the panel or open a door in the panel, and you will see the circuit breakers (black, about 4 of them) and the fuses (various colors of plastic, more or less a dozen of them). Find the circuit breaker labelled Water Heater, snap it to OFF, then to ON.
