Default best way to get power to the microwave?

Hello fellow TM owners,

I would like to know how anyone else has run their power cord to the microwave area (counter top between the cooktop and the closet)... I haven't found any really logical way yet, currently I run a heavy extension cord from the outlet near the breaker box up to the rear bed area, and then around the back of the closet. Still not very satisfied with this...

Other ideas?

Thanks,
Trudy

I've have a power plug tucked under the counter at the back right hand corner of the stove. Odd they they would stop putting one there as that is a good place.

My 2001 3124 has an outlet in the cabinet wall facing the wardrobe beside the stove. I use a power strip in one plug for my espresso machine and the micro in the other. I can run both at the same time. I thought all the models had the same outlet there because they call the extra drawer box that fits there a microwave drawer.

Oh, thank you so much. With your hint I searched that area harder and found and outlet on the back right corner of the counter section just to the right of the stove. It's kind of hidden on the side by the counter top. My 2922KB is a 2013, and I did see where there is a cut out for an outlet just where you described, but they must have decided to move it aft a few feet....

Thanks again!!!

On mine the outlet is in the cavity under the stove and behind the microwave-oven. Issue is to bring the wire out somewhere it won't get burnt, possibly a power strip in the cabinet to the right of the stove but that may require a hole in the cabinet wall. Just do not want to bring the wire up right behind the stove.
