one side lower

On my 2720 the entrance side is about 1 inch lower than the other side. With the tires the same pressure on a level drive way and the TM setup, I measure a one inch difference between the entrance side and the other side. This is from the ground to the bottom of the TM. Any adjustments here???

Do you know if it has always been that way?

I would check the "torsion arm" part of the axle that mounts the wheel to the bar that goes from one side of the trailer to the other. This arm moves up and down as you are going down the road, so it is possible one is sitting in a different position at rest. Ordinarily, if weighted roughly the same, they should be in the same position. Measure the angle with respect to the bar that goes from one side of the trailer to the other, or measure the distance from it to the frame.

As far as I know, it is not adjustable. I don't know if it could be repaired. I would kinda doubt it, but it would certainly be worth a call to Dexter to find out for sure.

Did you measure it? How far is it off?

My '87 2720 developed the same kind of tilt that you have. I don't remember this tilt when I first owned the TM. I think it was because I stored it beside the house and not on a level surface. I did not place leveling blocks under the low side wheel. I used a jack on the frame in front of the low side wheel and would then lower the stabilizers. It still had this tilt when I traded it for the '92 2720SL. I used a BAL (tire lift) leveler on both of my 2720SL's and never had the same problem. The tilt never caused any problem when towing or setting up. The repair for this would most likely be to replace the axle $$$$.

After more research I have some answers. The problem is probably a bent axel. It cost around $600 to replace. If the tires arent wearing and the trailer tows OK, don't worry about it.
