Default 3225 Pictures

I am excited about the possibility of buying a TrailManor I am wondering if anyone has any pictures of a 3225 that they would be willing to email to me? From what little information I have found on web, this trailer seems like it will provide the room I am looking for. Once I sell my wife on what it look like, then I can begin my search to find one for sale. Thanks very much!

Thanks for the reply Leon. I wll be towing with a Chevy 1500 Express van. It has a 5.7L V-8. While on that subject, I rented a 21 travel trailer and obtained only 8 miles per gallon on average. I have read that towing a Trail Manor I might expect 65% to 80% of my normal mileage. Are there any full size GM van owners out there that can me an idea of what to expect?

Thanks for sending along Ed's name Leon. I am sure you right about the living space of the 2619. I measured the actual outside length of the box on the rental trailer and found that it was actually just under 18 feet! The thing I need to decide is how important it is for me to be able to store the TM in the garage. If so, I would need to go with either the 2619 or the 2720. The reasoning for the 3225, was if I went with a larger box trailer, I wanted one in the 26-28 foot range.

How long is your garage? Don't forget that a swing tongue makes a lot of difference in storage length of a TM - very close to 2 feet. If the 3225 in question doesn't have one, then it doesn't help. But it can make a big difference in stuffing a 2720, for example, into your garage. Or a 3124 or 3326.

By the way, thinking again of the 3225, there is at least one TM dealer who can retrofit a swing tongue if it would help. I think that Custom RV in Anaheim, CA had something to do with the original development of the swing tongue. I would bet that The Car Show in Colorado Springs could do it, too, but I don't know for sure. Are there others?

I wouldn't go to a first-timer, or to Joe Welder across the tracks. But a dealership that has done 3 or 4 of them should be OK.

Just a thought ...

I saw some pictures of a 3225 on a 'for sale' site some time ago. It looked like the floorplan and pictures of the current 3124KB on the TM website. However, it is a dual axle unit.

The Car Show does do swing-away tongues. Mine didn't have one when new in the lot, but they made it for me. In fact they go the factory one better -- they put two large bolts on the large flat area, reducing your reliance on the two pins to hold it together.

It makes it possible for the 2720SL to stay in my garage for the winter.

My garage is 22' 8" deep. I realize that the 3225 probably would not fit. There are always trade offs - one fits in the garage and the other will fit my family of 5 better. As for the swing away tongue - how much do you suppose it costs to have a shop ad that to a trailer?

Default 3225 floorplan & specs

I was out puttering on the TM and found this brochure that shows the 3225 floorplan & spec's. Hopefully I'll have enough attachment space to post them.
