If you have a storage building of that size. I would not be concern with the swing hitch. The standard 2720 is 20'3" long when closed. The swing hitch when will reduce the length by about 2' when stored.

Art - I understand the swing hitch size but we're selling this house in a year so I want to be prepared for garage storage . . . Thanks for the advise but we are moving back west, just here in Louisiana temporarily.

If it will fit where you plan to store it go for the 2720. In addition to the larger bed, it has a bit more storage than the 2619. Also go for the newest year you can afford and find.
Lastly, search on thus forum for tips when inspecting potential buys.
Good luck, hope you find a good one and join our forum!

Owner of a 2720 with the queen in the back, full size bed in front and dinette that folds down into another full bed. Most of the options you want/need could be added/changed.

Something I can't understand (please enlighten me) is why anyone would need a stone guard on the rear window?

The rocks usually get kicked up from the road and hit the front, not the back.

I agree, but mine came with stone guards on both ends. The only advantage that we have found is that they make a great window awning.

My 3124KB has stone guard on both front and rear windows. I like the rear guard for privacy at night. Although, as that window is designated as an escape window, the stone guard is a conflict if pinned closed.

I also have the stonegaurd on the rear. With the Logo so prominent I figured it was more of an advertisement for the company.

We have the 2720SL and love it. It was lightly used and came with everything on your list but 15” tires. It had the lift kit so 15” tires was one of the first modifications. I don’t know anything about the 2619 but ours is perfect for us. Small enough to store in the garage but big enough so two people don’t feel cramped and will comfortably accommodate 4 for socializing. We have spent 6 weeks in it a couple of times and rain or shine it just felt like home to us. We are planning a longer trip this fall so we will see how it feels to be in it for months.

Here is a post with a list of links to info on buying used. Some posts are better than others.

The floor size is the same between the 2720 and 2619. The difference is a rear storage area under the rear bed that makes the bed and camper about one foot longer and gives you the queen rear bed.

The storage is divided into to two sections and is accessible from the inside and and a smaller outside area. The storage area is why be bought the 2720 vs the 2619. Just enough room for Joyce's pantry and good storage for for me to store the camper stuff; The tool bag, blocks, Coleman lantern, and other stuff for maintaining the camper without having to come into the camper to get it. For us it would be a tight fit without that storage area.
