The reason I was asking about whether or not you were buying a new one is that, from what I understand, the newer ones come with a lift kit that raises the body up several inches higher. The older models did not come with those, but they are an option and many people have installed them on their older models.

Drag braces are two metal skid bars attached to the bottom of the bumper that will hit first and provide some protection. These extend few inches below the bumper to protect it.
