Can we have a sticky thread for things to look for in a used TM?

There are so many people asking about what to look for in a used TM and it would be very helpful if all the past threads could be put in one place where potential owners could view them in one place. It seems like at least once every few weeks someone is asking this question. There are a lot of good responses out there, but they are scattered. I have answered this question so many times and am, frankly, tired of doing it. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who is.

I'd volunteer to help search for prior threads to include in the new one.
