I have heard that TM may have been a bit optomistic about weghts in the last century.

Below is the inside sticker from my 2720SL. I find it difficult to believe the Aluminum foam is heavier than the wood frame.

ps my tongue weight is 470 lbs. Keep in mind that hese are static weights and do not include shock, cornering loads, or transfers from WDHs. I also have to wonder a bit about the number of tire failures recorded.

Wow that is some difference. How thick of foam? Polyurethane foam? Guess I need to rummage round this binder heck I might find the toungue weight.
Going through previous owners notes I find 320lb. toungue.

Is really a foam sandwich with thin aluminum sheet on both sides and structural foam in the middle. Is a good insulator also.

I weighted my 2720SL tongue at 470 lbs using two scales which is A Lot for a 3500 lb trailer but still less than the 15% max recommended. TM does this deliberately to reduce sway.

Here is the sticker from my '08 2720, Mine is right at 3100 UVW. And notice the little note at the bottom that says " Dealer installed equipment will reduce the CCC" Best guess is that would include the batteries so dual batteries knocks of some more of your CCC.
