Default What type of bulb for porch light?

My 2008 2720SL has the old rectanglish lights and not the newer oval ones.

I have searched every manual I can get my hands on and cannot find a bulb part number for my specific light. I have attached pictures would anyone know what bulb type that is and if there is an led equivalent?

Thanks for your help!

Michelle

My 2007 3326 uses 912 bulbs in the outdoor lights. Here’s a link to an LED bulb...

Or replace the whole fixture and get amber lenses...

My 2003 and my 2009 had diffrent bulb types. What ever one you get. I would go for the one with the most lums and a color around 5k. Got mine on amazon. I needed 4 porch lights for the 2009 and 2 for the 2003

Michelle -

Just pop off the clear lens (squeeze the top and bottom edges of the lens together), pull the bulb out of its socket, and read the part number on the bulb.

An amber replacement bulb will draw fewer insects, of course. I'm not sure that you can get an amber LED replacement for an amber bulb - but someone will point one out if I am missing something. You can certainly buy an amber lens to replace the clear one, or buy an entire new fixture with amber LED lights inside.

Wow thanks everyone! The where's waldo search is over

Bill - I will try and find an amber light even in the cooler months the bugs fly around here in Tennessee! I did try and look on the bulb but there isn't a number to be found on it or I need superman spectacles to see 'em. Though when I just went out to take a picture of the bulb socket I zoomed in on the image observed the writing on the metal housing....12V Type 912...duh!

This support Shane826's 2007 3326 bulb type

tentcamper - thanks 5k is what I will search for. Anything bright to keep the coyotes & cougars away!

Dick - thanks for the link, you can never have too many options! Also looking to update the interior ceiling lights to led but haven't found the right size yet. Prefer not to have to tap in new holes but that may be inevitable.

Cheers!

Michelle

Good eyes Michelle. I had the same question. Got the bulb out but couldn't figure out exactly which bulb. Good catch on the fine print on the back panel. I never would have looked for that.
