Default first time out for tm and granddaughter

well we took the new to us tm out for a short shake down trip before a trip in aug. for the most part all was good, found outside shower and been froze, will need a little work, all other applinces worked , fridge worked very good, nice cold drinks, like others found the ac to be noisy, oh well, had done some recaulking around vents, it handled first 2 storms, but the one at 4 am dumped 2.4 inch in a little over an hr. lets just say i still got some work to do on that.
it was also oldest granddaughter's first camping trip, will be 3yrs old fri. things learned on this, do not turn back on!! ever!!, was in fire pit in just 30 sec. had to hear about that from mamaw and when going for a walk, this really means that pawpa walks and carries her. also keep up where fruit pouch drink is,not a good thing to sit on all in all a grt trip, will get rdy for next trip.

Looks like a keeper to me! Oh the TM will be a quick fix, all you need is a bucket to catch the drips, or maybe some caulk. Good for you!

LOL, our son was about 2 and I turned my back on him for a few seconds one morning at Pismo State Beach, and he was right into the firepit. Luckily it hadn't been used for a few days. He was covered head to toe in ash, and it was cold, foggy and wet. We were tent camping, and I didn't see any showers, so I carried him down to the ocean to wash him off. I don't think he's ever really forgiven me for that cold, morning, ocean bath.

Glad you had fun with your little granddaughter, she'll remember those camping trips for the rest of her life.

We took our 3 year old grandson on his first camping trip last month. He kept us entertained at the campfire with his stories of the monkies and the birds in the trees, complete with flashlight.
