Default 3124 vs 2720 Fuel Mileage

Hello,

Assuming they are both loaded with the exact gear, how much would the fuel mileage vary between the two while towing? Just looking at the dry/empty weight differences, I would think they would have similar numbers. Anyone with a real life comparison? Currently we have a 2015 Viking 15rb (small hybrid) with a dry weight of approx 2600 lbs and tongue weight of 251 lbs (dry/empty). TV is a 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab with 5.7 Hemi. Normal hwy mileage is around 20 mpg not towing and around 11 while towing the hybrid. Wind resistance would be the big culprit in the difference. Mileage is not the only reason we're looking at the TMs but certainly is a plus. Thanks.
