Default 3124 instead of 2720

I have noticed in reviewing the post's on this great site that many people want to purchase the 2720 or smaller units. We are on our third unit, one an older 26 foor, then a 2720 sl and last a 3124 KS. I keep wondering if those looking have noticed the difference in the amount of space between a 2720 SL and a 3124 KS. The smaller ones look great at first, but after spending a little time in them, we have found that the added living area and storage area are greatly appreciated if any time is spent in them at all. Another benefit of the 3124 is the 15 inch wheels compared to the 14 inch on smaller units. I realize that the 3124 would be more difficult to store in a garage. Just a thought to consider before buying a new one. RXDave

You are right, the storage and more room would be nice,
but................. ??? I plan on keeping the 2720 that we are ordering for a long time. I think the sun is the most harmful factor so we always will keep it garaged when not in use.

I agree that the increase in room and storage is a biggie but the 15 inch wheels can now be added as an option. Also one very good reason for getting the smaller trailer is that a 20 foot trailer can get into a lot of places that the larger ones can not.

In the end, what you want to do sets the unit you desire. If you want to stay mostly in privately owned campgrounds then the larger the better, but if you want to boondock in more out of the way places the smaller the better.
