I have not yet gotten a round tuit for my travel jack but from everything I am seeing the major problem is twisting/bending of the mount.
My concept then is to mount the dolly as low on the frame as possible so there is the least moment arm (leverage) between the bottom of the wheel (where force is applied) and the trailer frame.
This means the hitch will be low and the tail high.
In other words the picture shows the worst possible mounting configuration.
Comment ?

Padgett,
Mounting the TV lower would reduce the lateral force, but would also put more weight on the TV. Maybe a quick vector analysis is in order to analyze forces and moments.

Did that, static load change is in single pounds, vertical force vectors do not change much with TM angle 0 to -10 degrees (two foot drop at hitch) laterals stay the same.

The it makes sense to me. Shorten the moment arm and reduce the stress on the mount. Wish my XL was adjustable!

With a winch in the back to pull in garage, you just need a wheel on the tongue jack, not a valet.
