Tornado?
Today we had some winds that came though our area and totally destroyed my neighbor's barn. Unfortunately, our Trailmanor was set up in our driveway getting ready for a trip and was moved about 6 feet and thrown over on it's side! Incredibly, it does not appear to be damaged. Now I just need to figure out how to get it back upright -- all 3300 lbs of it!
Anyone have any ideas? It seems there are YouTube instructional videos for just about everything, but somehow they missed this one!
So I am thinking about jacking up the frame enough to put jacks under it so the wheels will not be side loaded and then pulling it upright with cables hooked to my tractor. To cushion the fall back over, I am thinking of inflating 20 doubled contractor trash bags full of air to form air bag cushions that will pop but cushion the fall back onto its wheels?
If anyone has a better idea, I'm all ears! Should I take the top two sections off first to lighten the load when it falls back on its wheels? I assume, I could lift those back on top with enough people and hands?
Seriously, this was not my favorite day of the year.
Keith the unfortunate.

If it was me, I'd hire a tow recovery outfit to see what they think they can do. First I'd call the insurance company.
Ouch! I think that's a first for this board!
So sorry to see your poor TM on it's side like that!

Wow, sorry for your misfortune, curious how high was the wind? We had 70 mph straight line winds today but mine was inside. I have endured 45 mph gusts camping but yours had to be way stronger?

+1 on B&D's response. A recovery outfit can ease it down. They can also bind the shells in place and ease the whole thing upright as a unit. They will also know about side forces on the wheels, which I suspect will not be a problem.
You won't know the extent of the damage until you get it upright. You will probably find that various appliances have broken loose from their moorings, and you want the insurance company to be right there when it comes back upright and you open the door.
LOTS of pics!
I would NOT suggest trying to take the upper shells off.

Sorry, that's no bueno. Where are you located? We had 80mph gusts here in Rochester, NY. Blew a train off the track and this guy's fifth wheel got flipped, too.

Ditto on the above from B&D and Bill. You don't say what year it is, but I suspect there's a good chance it will be totaled. There will be a fair amount of damage to the side laying on the ground, even if cosmetic, and similar to hail damage to the roof, I suspect the only way to repair it is going to be replacing the shells as well as the bottom part of the wall. Similarly, there is very likely to be significant damage inside too -- I had several of my appliances break free after going down a bumpy dirt road. And if the oven broke free, for example, and crashed on the bathroom wall, it too might be damaged.
First thing I'd do is file a claim before attempting to do anything except take lots of photos.

From the photo it is on the street side. Can see damage to the rear bed structure and may be able opening for interior photo access. If wardrobe was in place expect that is now in bathroom. And stove may be embedded in sink wall. Can see offset of the rear shell in photo, hope it straightens back out when upright.
Have to be carful pulling back on wheels to protect the plastic black/gray drain piping.
Take lots of pictures.
80 mph ? Must be a freak storm but in flatlands is nothing to slow it down.

I'm sorry to see your TM on it's side.
I'll refrain from my initial urge to bid on the grey water tank!
I would heed the advice of others and have a insurance adjuster present when you get it back on the wheels.

Ouch.... Sorry to see it on its side. I would check with your home owners and auto and/or trailer insurance policy. You most likely have coverage.
I agree with the others. Let the pros right it. I think they will cause less damage. If you have insurance coverage, it should be covered after the deductible.

Oh that's right! If it happened at home of should be covered by your homeowners insurance!
