I live in Illinois near Springfield. I am in no hurry. I will get my TV ready for what I want and perhaps an opportunity will present itself to get a hands on. My other option is replace my TV so I can plan B get something else. Have the time to wait. Still amazed the the TM is so scarce around here.

I'm about 30-40 min north of Chicago just off I-294. I know it's quite a distance from Springfield, but if you wanted I'd be happy to show you my model sometime.

I was fairly certain that there was a dealer someplace: Art's RV, 21W700 North Avenue (Rt. 64), Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. That may be more convenient for you.

Try Prosser RV in Milwaukee. That is where we bought ours.

You might want to give M & M in Trenton MI, just south of Detroit, a look at http://www.mm-rvcenter.com/default.asp They show 2 new units in stock and are a terrific dealer that I have dealt with for more than 4 years. When I knew nothing about campers they refused to sell me a unit as it was too heavy for my car. They said they could not sleep at night knowing I was out there towing it. They did sell me a less expensive, smaller unit which I traded up to a TM a year later as well.

Lot of good ones have come from Colorado Springs...we have quite a few here. I sold my old TM to a guy in Canada - he came down to pick it up. So people do travel great distances to find one. Check the sales boards - I bought my first one that way and traveled the 100+ miles to get it. Can you tell we are passionate about our TMs!!
