Default TrailManor Survives The Storm

This from Ed Lytle this morning:

Good morning,

Yes, we are fine. Very bad electrical storms and wind for about 8 hrs. but this area was spared the serious damage. Some nearby were not so lucky.

Thanks for your concern.

Ed

Glad to hear the plant and folks are okay.

Meanwhile I have wondered if Beach Boy is okay. Have not seen him post since the storms hit his area.

Hello everyone. Thanks to barb&tim and countrygirl for checking on us. Here is a copy of my reply to countrygirl:

We are OK. The tornado which hit Tuscaloosa bounced over us. It hit five miles west of us. Then it hit five miles east of us. According to radar, it went right over us.

I and others have found debris in our yards from Tuscaloosa such as pieces of a yearbook, a letter, and a cancelled check.

I learned today that a former student of mine was killed at the University of Alabama. She had a 3.85/4.0 GPA and was a delight. A bright flame has been snuffed out.

Thanks for checking on me.
