Default Our new baby is home in the driveway

Picked up our TM today and are camping in the driveway this weekend (kids are already out there ... asleep?) with a quick jaunt to a local state park planned for next weekend. Funniest thing: on the drive down to Colo. Springs to pick it up our gas mileage was 15.5 mpg and on the drive back it went UP to 16.2 mpg ... of course, technically the dealer is a 1000' elevation gain *and* we drove about, on average, about 10 mph slower on the way home so that *may* have had something to do with it.

Default Driveway camping ...

The TM performed perfectly but we found another reason to appreciate the fact that we chose to camp our first night in our driveway ... at about 2:30 am we discovered that our youngest, Bethany, has come down with the stomach flu. It definitely pays to be only steps from a washing machine at such a time.

With a chance for Bethany (and her parents ) to recuperate during the week, all systems should be a go for camping at the state park next weekend and celebrating Joanna's 8th birthday.
