Default Frame adjustment?

hi. i think i read somewhere that there are some adjustments that should be made yearly or so on the frame to keep everything level and good. is this true. if so, where can i find some information.
i'm having a bit of trouble with my door sticking and things being level.
should i go to a trailmanor repair shop and have them adjust something?
thanks for any help.
i'm trying to sell it and it is embarrassing when the door won't open or shut.

I've not heard of this. Can you find out where you saw it? I can't think of anything on the frame that could be adjusted ...

He probably means the shells or more specifically the arms that hold the shells.... something like that anyway.

You probably already know this, but the TM needs to be just about level to open it up and close it, otherwise you'll have problems.

Brig -

You may be right that the shells need a bit of adjustment to make the doors open smoother. It was the "yearly adjustment" thing that confused me, as if it were some kind of maintenance item.

Your comment about the TM being level and square (i.e., none of the corners jacked up beyond the others) to make the doors open smoother is quite right. Andie, you should check this first, before you get involved in something major.

Thanks, Bill.

Andie, you might want to check out a new thread entitled "Door Set Up Difficulty". Perhaps there are some answers in there for you. Ironic how this came up the same time your post did.

I sometimes have trouble getting the pin in for the door to fit the two sections together - that's when I say to my hubby "I can't do it, can you?" and he puts it in right away.... not sure what he does. Sorry I am not of more help.
