Default How much difference is too much on torsion bars

Hi, I’m new on the Forum but have had my 2013 2417 for about five years, used once each year or so. Front shell is becoming more difficult to raise, I can still do it but the last third of the raise is a bit of a struggle. It lowers and clicks shut easily. The back shell is still easy up and down. Most of its life it’s been stored in a closed position.
I read post history and so measured front shell curb and street side lift arms, from the T (horizontal member) in the pocket to mid point on the tension rods. Results:
Curb rear 40 3/4, front 40 7/8
Street rear 41 1/4, front 40 3/4.
When unlatched it measures level (within 1/8”) and looks level relative to the back shell.
Is this difference, all pairings, enough to cause some difficulty raising the front shell? Or am I just feeling older still!! Is an adjustment, something I think I understand but might be reluctant to do myself, advised to correct these differences, or is it more likely one or more rods have lost their tension and should just be replaced?
I welcome any and all suggestions, ideas, advice, and opinions on this common situation. Thanks, Will
