Default Power King Towmaster Tires

I just purchased two 15 " Power King Towmaster tires from Amazon for 63 dollars each. They arrived in one day. The tires are date stamped November 2016. I will be replacing my 14 " Carlisle tires that are four years old. I hope I have good luck with this brand. Amazon continues to have great prices. I purchased my truck tires from Amazon also. They were much cheaper than local dealers. My truck tires were only 4 months old when I received them from Amazon.

When you buy tires from Amazon or the like, you still have to get them mounted and balanced when they arrive. Does your local tire dealer do these tasks for you, and how much does it affect the price difference?

I can mount them here but only have a bubble balancer so usually take them out for balancing.

Where I live , there has got to be a 100 tire dealers. There are many independent shops that will mount and balance for a small fee .

Exclamation Go with the pros

More often than not, you get what you pay for in tires.

I also prefer to go with a trusted name brand offered through a trusted store. I have ordered through tire rack before, but then again, I purchased name brand tires too.

I might order off-brand tires if I was placing my camper in a permanent spot. However, my TM travels over 1000 miles per year and not worrying about the tires work well for me.

My local tire shop charged me 15 dollars per tire to mount and balance. So my cost for 2- 15" wheels, 2 Power King Towmax 205- 75R - 15 D tires , mounting and balancing was 200 dollars. I carried the wheels to the tire shop do I didn't have to tow my camper there.

Gapopper: I have the same tires just bought in 2014. No problems. Were some name tires that did not meet my requirements (LRD, overlay, etc.). Suspect there are more choices now.

Hard part was finding a TPMS that could reach the TV dash.

Padgett , your dash look like an airplane cockpit. We have the same TPMS. Did you have to purchase the repeater. I haven't towed mine yet to see if it will work without the repeater.
