Default One more item for the checklist

When I was replacing the fuse holder on my trailer, I had a hard time getting the wire nut off where the fuse holder attaches to the trailer wire, and when I finally did, the wires were severly corroded. I cleaned the wires up with a wirebrush and when I put them back together, I put a little dab of petrolem jelly into the end of the wire nut before I taped the connection. If you haven't checked the connection, I suggest that you do and make sure that the wires are clean and in good condition, this can help ensure a good voltage path when running on 12VDC. The petroleum jelly will retard the corrosion, and make the connection weather resistant.
