Default 2023 Trailer Quality?

We are looking at 2023 2720QB. When looked at the trailer on the lot, the trim was not glued down in places, buckle and glue drips on backsplash and a few places where the contact paper was curled up. Is this indicative of overall quality of current trailmanors or probably just cosmetic? Don’t want to invest this much in a trailer if recent quality has been shoddy and only older models are built well.

Sounds like just cosmetic but I would have the dealer fix it to your satisfaction before even taking delivery. TMs tend to be built better than most travel trailers out there.

As a former Sales Rep for Keystone, Grand Design, Coachmen, and Forest River, almost all RV's come with some defects (usually cosmetic, but some of the lesser brands have bigger probs. Make sure you go over it with a fine toothcomb and get them to fix everything you see.... You should also make note of any defects to see or experience, on your first few outings, and then take it to the dealership and have them replace of repair anything you find (Do this somewhere around 10/11 months after purchase).

I used to tell all of my customers...There are three things you need when you own an RV. !. Patience 2. A tool kit 3. A sense of adventure!

Hope all goes well with your new RV!

If, you are interested I will share my 5 things you need to know about driving a trailer that will keep you from getting a divorce!

Having them fix what I can find (already started notes) was my plan. Going in at 10 months is a great idea also. What are the tips. Don’t want to have to turn around and sell the trailer for a divorce after spending the effort to clean the garage.

Good info for all. Families that own campers should all be knowledgeable on how things work, how to operate or drive whatever they own.
As a retired AF aircraft mechanic, my trainers always said, you may not be physically able to do something, but knowing how/why and when steps are to be accomplished and being able to express that to someone else is priceless. You can save lives, property and lots of frustration.
Thanks...sorry if I went off script of this thread.
