Default Loose Thetford Toilet

After my second left side tire shredding incident, I found it necessary to replace the floor flange and associated plumbing. After a few tries with various seals, I finally bought the Thetford repacement. My problem is, no matter how hard I try, I cannot keep the toilet from wobbling when sitting on it. The wobble started after the second tire shredding incident.
I guess I can shim the legs but I would really like to know if I did something wrong. I followed the Thetford directionos to the letter (if that could be possible) Also, the only way I could snap the plastic inserts into place was to have someone sit on the toilet.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like the same problem I ran into when replacing my easy slide valve. The easy slide valve at the base of our Thetford was no longer working properly. Liquid was slowly leaking by the valve and into the main black water drain. I ordered a replacement easy valve assembly from Thetford. In the meantime I picked up an OEM replacement donut seal (part #24304) thinking it would not be included in the replacement easy slide valve assembly. However, the replacement did come with a donut seal attached. But the donut seals were different thicknesses. Part #24304 was thicker and would not allow the Thetford legs to touch the floor. The donut seal that came with the easy slide assembly did allow the toilet to sit firmly on the floor - but leaked. A thin layer of clear, 100% silicone applied between the donut seal and the floor flange stopped the leak.

Default Tnx

Thanks for the input. I guess it would be safe to just shim the legs.

I use Thetford part #33364 for the donut seal, and I have someone sit on the toilet while I push in the white clips. No leaks, no silicone, and the toilet does not rock.
