Default Just about ready

We bought our Tm in Nov. last year and have been getting it ready for our maiden flight.
So far I've replaced all the wheel bearing, the wheel seals, the brake lining and magnets. The brakes now work.
I mounted my D&S screen on the back of the camper.
Dismantled the toilet and made sure it wasn't all clogged up, it looked really clean. I did remove the notorious vinyl deflector thingy.
Made a TV mount.
Put new 15 inch tires and wheels on.
I repaired a leak around the forward roof vent.
I still need to get a new battery, a micro wave and install a radio.
The P.O. had put one of those two way levels on the tongue. I've been using that to level the trailer when I set it up. I noticed that the TM was opening harder than I thought it should. I'd have to shove the tops in or out to fasten the square tubes to them. Upon checking with a 2 foot level I discovered that the one on the tongue was way off! I re-leveled using a 2 foot level and things are much better. I took the small level off the tongue and discovered that it was fastened by a small double sided foam strip and would allow it to rock back and forth giving different readings!. I'm in the process of fastening it with Gorilla glue so it indicates true level. I like being able to see both side to side and for and aft levels in the same place.
We are going to go to Paris Mountain S.P. for our Maiden voyage within the next couple of weeks. Then it is off the Pride RV park near Pigeon Forge in April for a week.

Sounds like you are ready to enjoy your TM!
Hoping you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours

We have a level on the front and side of the front shell. These were placed after the TM was leveled with a large level and the camper closed. Since there is some play in the shells they still have to be moved a little sometmes to get the pins into the arms.

Enjoy your travels.

I got the micro wave, radio and battery today.
Got the battery and radio installed.
There have been numerous posts about installing a radio, but none mentioned that you must tie the red ignition switch wire to the power positive in order for the radio to work! After figuring that out I tied them together , but then I couldn't turn the radio completely off ! After a trip to Radio Shack and a purchase of a rocker switch which I placed in the ignition switch wire I can now turn it off.
To my surprise the speakers worked really well. This TM had never had a radio before, so I didn't know if they would work or not.
