Ah, yes, the old "bouncy temp in the refrig" problem. There has been a lot of discussion about this in the Appliances Forum, but not much in the way of good solutions. One thing to check - if you go outside and look behind the refrig (remove the louvered access panels), you should see a piece of dryer vent hose running from the top of the compartment down to the floor of the compartment. Make sure the hose is in place, open at the top, and not clogged. At the bottom of the hose, mounted on the floor with the hose slipped over it, is a small 12-volt fan. Make sure that the fan runs when you throw the switch on the indoor panel near the fridge. Also, make sure that the fan blows downward - you should be able to put your hand under the TM and feel the flow of air coming out. The purpose of this hose and fan is to exhaust heat from the refrig compartment. It is especially useful when the TM is closed down, but it also helps stabilize things when you are set up and camping.
A bigger issue is the thermostat for the refrig. More recent models ate thermostatically-controlled only when running on AC (shore power). When running on gas or battery, there is no thermostat.
I don't know what model refrigerator you have in your camper. If you could look it up and tell us, one of us could check the diagram. Actually, you should have a diagram that came with the refrig ....
