Default TM water pump

Hi,
Have a 2012 tm 2720sl Prepping to go out this week and concerned about water pump. On last outing water pump running with a consistent hum while water running, today pump hum is off and on while water running with low water pressure. Hot water tank full, holding tank 1/2 full, system pressurized and all valves shut.
Is my pump going bad?

Thanks for any input.

Just to be sure, you don't have a water hose connected to the TM's city water (garden hose) inlet, do you? The water system is designed to get water from either the on-board water tank, or the garden hose inlet, but not both. If you are using the on-board water tank, then the pump provides pressure. If you are using the garden hose inlet, then the city water system supplies pressure.

I don't think your pump is going bad. Most likely (and easiest to check) you have grit in the strainer screen on the end of the faucets. Just unscrew the end of the faucet, and examine the screen when it drops off into your hand. Rinse out any grit, and reinstall.

Mine went bad a few years ago. It would run, but not pump. I bought a replacement head from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It was easy to install.

After I did it, I believe people on the forum advised me that there might be an even cheaper fix - a diaphragm kit. Also available from Amazon, I believe.
