4WD and still stuck on the grass?

I can't tell how aggressive the tire is.

If the tires are aggressive, then a winch is the next thing to add.

And some people think that 4WD is not necessary.

Looks like street tires to me, we got all terrain and we haven't been stuck yet since we bought them (knock on wood). The lower part of our property is a Slough and it gets pretty wet down there.

Makes a huge difference.

Or just don't go there until it dries out. We keep our TM in the paved driveway across from our house.

We've had all kinds of things stuck down there, dump trucks, tractors, tractors trying to get other tractors out, finally had to call the huge big red truck from Castroville one time when it got really bad.

When it gets that wet now we just don't go there.

I managed to get a Jeep MB stuck in the mud once.

If the mud is deep enough you can high center, meaning that all 4 wheels are "off the ground" spinning in place.

I once saw a 4WD truck with camper get stuck in the mud. Up to the axles.

They tried to pull it out with a back hoe. The operative word is try.

They tried to pull the back hoe and truck out with a larger than normal tow truck. It was also stuck in the mud.

Then the brought out the biggest tow truck I have ever seen. That did the trick. The still cheated and use the corner jacks.

When I was driving Jeeps in my teens we always had at least 2 jeeps with winches, plus an extra 300 feet of elevator cable. We never go stuck.
