Looking at a 2006 2619, but it has a sagging roof...
I've been looking at a 2006 2619 and while the entire thing has been redone (new paint on the outside and inside, new floors, counter tops, new lights inside, everything looks very clean and nice), the front shell sags in the center. I couldn't see it in the photos that were posted, but when I saw it in person it was pretty obvious. I asked the owner to lower the unit so I could look at the roof, and it would certainly pool water there (and there appeared to be a sunken area near the AC cover, it went down about an inch or so). The owner stated that they haven't had any leaks since they resealed the unit and put eternabond on it and they replaced the bags between the shells (and the wood, as it had rotted out).
He was originally looking to sell it for 12k, but lowered it to 10k, and I talked him down to $8500, but after seeing the sag and having a few days to think about it, I'm wondering if it is worth it at all. We would keep it in our garage so it wouldn't be exposed to weather aside from when we are using it. Is it possible to 'push' the roof back up into place using a jack? I saw that another owner had done that with theirs, but I'm wondering if it isn't worth the trouble.

The only real fix is complete roof panel replacement. A couple folks have built external braces to pull the roof back up into a crown but for the money you’re talking, you shouldn’t have to completely modify the structure.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking also. Was excited about getting one and this one did look great, but once I saw the roof sag it kinda destroyed it all for me. I had convinced myself that getting them to drop the price another $1500 would make it worth it, but the reality is I'd just be over paying for it and there's a good shot it would be an issue in the future. Better to wait for one in better condition.

It’s pretty much scrap for what it would cost to fix correctly and there are plenty of good TMs out there in that price range.

A 2006 2619 in perfect condition, garage kept, new tires, new battery, well maintained with receipts, everything works, bag seals are all good, NO leaks and all of the accessories MIGHT be worth $10K to some buyers (not me).
I just noticed that it has "New Paint". TMs are not painted. They are powder-coated aluminum sheet metal. The powder coating lasts for many-many years, especially if garage kept. It's also resistant to chafing (very important on a TM). I would not recommend buying one that has been painted unless the painter were a professional autobody painter and was properly prepped and primed, used several coats of automotive paint and clear-coat. Even then, it wouldn't necessarily be a plus, it might be a price deduction for any flaws.
The same trailer with a warped roof $3500 and take off for anything above that isn't perfect. The whole story about replacing the bag seals AND wood sorta stinks IMO.
