I replaced the aluminum trim piece at the bottom of the front shell. Mine had been damaged to the point where the metal wall under the fiberglass had kinked. I was able to get the metal wall back in shape and there was no fiberglass damage but i could not straighten out the bend in the trim piece. I ordered an 8 ft chunk of 1.25" x 1.25" x1/8" 90 degree angle and cut it to fit. Some fresh paint and a new $32 custom ebay sticker and it almost looks respectable again.

Thank you! Its been a lot of work but its coming together. I got the yuge scratch down the drivers side pretty much fixed and i think i fixed the cause. Not much i can do to get the scratch out of the bathroom window but its better. The paint is still wet so it looks a little weird right now. Finished painting the inside and repairing the floor. The toilet and blackwater tank are done. Down to the filthy couch now. I ordered a fake leather futon couch that should fit with some modifications.

Finished putting my batteries together and bolted them down with nutserts (i love nutserts). I got the inverter and other components mounted and wired. Its 5pm and the sun is behind the trees next door and the system is charging my batteries right now with the camper inside my shop at 2 watts. Basically 3) 24v batteries in parallel for combined 315ah with 400 watts of panels on top.
I should be able to plug my shore power line into my inverter now and run my whole trailer minus the AC. But the inverter could run the ac i think at least for a while.
Edit: I wired the rv shore power into my inverter and the AC does in fact run fine with it only drawing 44% load on my inverter. Now i can feed my inverter 110v AC from a new shore power line from the shop. This inverter can not feed back to the grid, so no transfer switch is needed.

Holly cow..... How many amp hours?
Are you using solar panels at all or are you just charging it up before you leave?
I wish that I would have gone with an all-in-one controller.

That sounds right. Yes.
And the batteries weigh maybe a few lbs more than the stock 2) 6v lead acid batteries.
The stock 2) 50w panels weigh more than these 4)100w panels. Plus 30 lbs for inverter, wires and small bits.

I got the futon installed. I added 14" of 1.5" abs pipe to the legs to clear the furnace. The tables would not open with the new futon in place so i put the tables on a 22" drawer slide so i can slide them out, open the legs and then slide them back in a bit.

Battery testing. I put a 500w wall shaker AC (smallest one i can find) into the kitchen window and ran it for 8 straight hours on the batteries yesterday. The counter said i could go 13 hours on the batteries but im not going to stress them like that. It was 85 degrees outside and it was 62 degrees in the TM.
Test passed.
