Dollies to move your TM

Where do I look for help on picking an electric dollies?I have a 2720 LS.

We have a hand dolly that we use to manuever our 2720SD in and around our driveway. Not sure what you mean by an electric dolly.

Search the Forum for Powermover . There are two major companies making power dollies, there is a lot of info here if you search. I have a hand dolly and a Powermover. The hand dolly works if the area you are moving the TM is very level. The power dolly works in grades up to about 4 degrees ( limited by traction not power) but for your TM run about $1000.

I got the Power Mover

I works great for moving the TM into the garage. We could not do that if it were not for the Power Mover. It is electric and attaches to the TM brakes which is a good safety feature. It is well built and I have had no problems with it. When I talked to them they said I should get model with three wheels I think I could have used the smaller model.

OK....OK.....with all this dolly talk, I went out and bought one of those big tire trailer dollies. It does move the trailer a lot easier than using the tongue jack wheel.

I noticed the picture of your dolly and I wanted to ask how big, diameter, are the wheels. Could you tell me its capacity and brand - also where you purchased it from?

This is the one that I bought but I found it on www.craigslist.com for $20......like new.

I changed the ball to a 2". Using the 1 7/8" ball seems a little dangerous to me. If the handle tips forward, it could fly up (out of control, kinda like stepping on a rake) and the trailer could fall to the floor. I also put a 3/4" spacer under the ball so that the dolly tire can fit under the frame.
