you can still get the 2088. Google it. But I would go to the Shurflo 4008 Revolution. Much better pump. Uses less power, rated for 3.0 gpm vs 2.8 gpm of the 2088. Almost the same footprint and water connection measurement. You will have no issue installing it.

Agree with @tentcamper. I completed the water pump replacement last summer using the Shurflo 4008-101. Best decision I made was to ensure I used reinforced tubing to isolate the pump from the pex lines. The result is VERY quite pump. I also installed an accumulator, but don’t believe that to be as necessary with the 4008.

Our WP died. Discovered this after filling the tank up and setting up camp. Well the campsite had water nearby but darn. . So I ordered the 4008 -101 and will install when it arrives. I'll try to add some sound deadening during install. Thanks

My 2020 TM has the Revolution 4008. Good pump. The factory connected it directly to the PEX pipes, so it is a bit noisy. Not horribly, but a bit. I agree with Lederhos - connect it with some hose, and screw it down on some rubber.

I am hoping we did not damage our water pump yesterday.
I came in to the camper and saw the water pump on but I knew we were almost empty in the freshwater tank.
I plan on finding out tonight.

Thanks!
The pump seemed to work just fine.

Just got the new pump. Are those fittings that connect to the pump and allow you to use tubing available at Home Depot or Ace? Also what is that clear tube for? For filling the tank from below?

Which clear tube? There is a clear tube that runs from the tank, near the top, to the low-pressure inlet fitting on the side of the trailer. This is a vent tube to let air out of the tank as you fill it, and to warn you when it is close to full.

On some TMs there is a clear tube from near the top of the tank to a fitting in the floor. This is an overflow drain in case you overfill the tank. It appears in Lederhos' first pic above.

There are clear tubes with white mesh embedded in the wall of the tubes - these are the inlet and outlet hoses connected to the pump. You can see these in the fifth picture from Lederhos, above.

Picture?
