Ugh. Don't know how I missed that! I see now that I do have access to the faucets just behind the removable panel in the rear storage area. Thanks for pointing that out.

Funny...... we were camping this weekend and the same thing happened. I went to a local RV Supply store and bought a new faucet assembly ($31). I just got home and did some research, Amazon has one that is all Stainless steel and should eliminate this issue.

The other way to go is to keep a spare:

Looks like a good and very inexpensive alternative there Wavery on the spare! Even though my patching glue mostly worked, I went ahead and ordered the replacement faucet from Trailmanor anyway for $53 and installed it. Got the original replacement part, just to eliminate any possibility that the part size was not completely standard.
I don't know for sure if it was the cause, but I remember hearing a snapping sound when I closed up the bathroom one time. That could have been the start of it. Not being a plumber, plumbing problems spook me more than they should.. lol But thank goodness, as plumbing problems go, this is not a bad one to have.. lol.

Have no fear. That faucet is a standard 4" on center.
