Default TM sightings 2016 - any interest?

Back in the days when TMs were rare, it was a big deal to spot one on the highway, and folks went to great lengths to identify each other here on the forum. In the last couple years, though, this seems to have become more of a "blah" occurrence. So I'm wondering if we should drop the topic.

Just as part of the thought, I remember when my wife and I bought one of the first 4WD Chevy K-Blazers, back in 1969. They were not big sellers for a while, and the few owners would nearly drive off the road when they saw each other. After a few years, though, the novelty wore off, and the excitement stopped. Today I see Tesla owners occasionally waving at each other, but no one else.

What do you think?

Bill

I too, enjoy reading and posting sightings. Do let's keep it up and encourage others to do the same.

I like it as well. It's fairly rare for us to see one; I think I've posted in these threads twice. Once I got a reply from the owner, which was fun.
