Default back up lights

The backup lights don’t help much as I can’t see behind the TM when backing up. I want to put amber bulbs in the backup lights, and put a flasher somewhere in the line. Does anyone know where I could install the flasher, so that it won’t be subjected to the outside elements? Or is there some kind of waterproof box that I can make? Or is this just a plain stupid idea. I have real concerns when I have to back up and turn around on the street because of a wrong turn. This of course is the fault of my navigator, not me!

Don't know what the wire color is but the backup lights are connected through the center (aux) contact on the Bargman piug. You should find a place to install the flasher either behind the lower external fridge vent or behind the panel in the lower left side of the cabinet under the kitchen sink.
