Default Ant spray on TM exterior ?

I keep my 2619 outside under the carport. This morning I noticed a trail of very small ants which looked like they may have been entering the TM through the roof / under the seal. I sprayed the area with Raid Ant & Roach spray. It occurred to me that spraying along the seals might be good prevention-wise (although after reading threads on this forum I realize there're about a thousand other ways ants can get in).

So my question is, does ant spray harm a) the exterior surface or b) the seals ?

Thanks!

If the spray contains any oils, used to create a film that sticks around a while, I would avoid that. The chemicals and propellants should not be an issue.

How about spraying where the tires meet the ground, and where the tongue jack and levelers hit the ground? They have to get up somehow, and those won't be hurt by insecticide, I imagine.

We have used that same spray without problems to the TM for the last two years.

I also store my TM outside and read that kitchen cleanser, Comet, sprinkled around the tires, tongue hitch and levelers would deter critters and bugs. So far this has worked for me.
