Default Too much pressure on latches in travel mode?

Hi all

Just wondering how much bedding and foam I can add to the TrailManor bed and still be able to latch safely without too much pressure on the latches? Is it possible too do this? I hate setting up bedding after I arrive.

On my old pop up I had two inch memory foam, plus sheets, blanket, but no quilt, and that was the most I could put on it and still be able to latch without great difficulty.

On my camper 1" of material left on the bed is OK. 2" causes noticeable pressure on the latches.

It depends on how easily the material compresses. I would get a good feel for how tight the latches are with nothing on the bed. Then try it with sheets and blankets and see if it is tighter.

You problably won't get away with bulky items like pillows.

You don't won't a lot of extra pressure on those corner latches. They will pull out.

When we had our pop-up, the original foam plus LL Bean futons with bedding would close fine. For the TM it did not. We removed the foam mattress that came with the TM and just use the futons. Pillows get stored else where when we close down just like on the pop-up.
