MaxAir or similiar vent cover for non-Fanastic Fan vent
I am looking to add a vent cover to one of the twin roof vents on the front shell.
Below is a standard MaxAir vent unit:
https://www.amazon.com/Maxxair-503-1...of+vent+covers
I measured the protruding base of my vent and it was larger than 14". Does anyone know what vent unit will fit our non-Fantastic fan vents?
Thanks much for your recommendations!

This link is from my amazon orders, and I'm pretty sure it's the same as your link. yes, 14 inches
I got this because I was having some water leakage at that vent and I was hoping I wouldn't have to re-caulk the vent. It didn't help in that and I still had to re-caulk the vent, but it sure has been nice to have a vent we can leave open and not have to worry about possible rain as we venture out for the day.

I bought 2 of the Ramble vent covers from Camping World and they fit but it does limit how far you can open up the vent.

I bought the MaxxFan and it's really spiffy. Closed it has a low wind profile, open it doesn't let the rain in, and it has a thermostatic control so you don't have to get up in the middle of the night to turn it on or off and you can leave it on in an opened camper and it won't deplete your battery if it doesn't need to run. It sticks into the RV deeper than other vents, so I built a frame extension of plastic composite "wood" to raise it an inch, but I might have been able to do without that.

That sounds really "cool". How did you get power to it?

I replaced one of the roof vents with the MaxxFan. There was already power there for the light. I changed to a surface-mounting LED light next to the fan, which was thin enough not to be a problem.
