Default Faucet cap

Hi everyone, my wife drove to Dallas, TX (from Biloxi, MS) by herself a couple of weeks ago to pick up a mint 2007 2720. When she got home, we had to work out a couple of bugs, but for the most part, we are very pleased. One of the seemingly large issues was a broken faucet cap. I searched the forum and the web in general and only discovered the post where someone swapped the whole faucet. That was too big of a job right now for me so we attempted JB weld....didn't work. At any rate, my last ditch effort was to contact TM. I sent an email and the next day Sonja responded back. They had some! And they only cost $2.59 plus shipping. Just wanted to let anyone know with a similar issue. The part number is FA12102-01.

What’s a faucet cap? Glad they could tighten you up!

I think he is referring to the decorative cap that goes atop each faucet knob - one labelled "H" and one labelled "C". Or maybe no label.

Before ordering, be sure to check with Sonya, and maybe even send a photo. TM used a number of different faucets over the years, and presumably the caps are different.

The cap that goes in the center of the faucet that holds the spout on. They are prone to breaking (possibly due to freeze). When they break, water shoots straight up like a geyser! The only fix is to find this cap...or swap faucets out.
