Default Reese Weight Distribution Hitch

Hi,
I just installed WDH on my 07 3124KB.
I am not sure about the level of the trailer or TV.
What should be the ball height?
It's hard to check if TM is leveled.
How do you know if TM is leveled?
Thanks in advance.

The questions about the WDH are fairly common, but the answers can get lengthy. A bit of time with the Search tool, or just browsing through the Frame forum, will help quite a bit. As for the question of level, just put a carpenter's bubble level fore-and-aft on one of the two major frame members, up near the hitch. For hitch adjustment purposes, use a level that is at least 6 inches long, not one of the little tiny ones or a bullseye level. And of course you are looking for level after the spring bars have been lifted to the proper height and secured.

"Proper height". That's a whole 'nuther discussion.

Good choice of hitch, by the way.

[Edit] This discussion really belongs in the Frame forum with the others on the same topic. But I notice that your Trial Membership is about to expire, and if I move it before you become a Sponsor, you won't be able to see it any more. So I'll leave it here for a few days. After that, though, you might consider joining us.

To add some to Bill's post:

If you are like me, and your driveway isn't level but is pretty flat, you can measure to the bottom of the frame near the back bumper, and also near the tongue and compare those 2 measurements to see whether the tongue is too low or high.
