Default Anti Wasp Screen on Grill

Hi all,

I did this a long time ago and it has held up well. I took off the grills over the refrigerator and used a hot glue gun to cement some fiberglass screen over the louvers. It has done well to keep the pesky wasps out of there.

It looks like this...

Oh, Keith, Thank You. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to cover those grills.

No problem gang...

It has worked real well. The little critters can't get in far enough to make a home and the screen seems let plenty of air through.

I used 2" wide drywall fiberglas tape and Liquid Nail Silicone Adhesive. I did it on the outside. I also flipped the hotwater screen down and did the same to the inside, again using strips of fiberglas drywall tape. Works real well.

You might want to keep a close eye on the fiberglass tape on the hot water heater vent. That exhaust can get quite toasty.

I don't think the fiberglas tape will catch fire, and the silicone is good for up to 400 degrees F. But thanks for the concern.
