Default new gas cooktop for 2720 TM

I have to replace my attwood cooktop with something else. I have the microwave under it so have to go with just a cooktop. Anyone have any reccomendatiins for a cooktop that will work?

I am looking at the recpro cooktop but specs say
Inlet pressure: 10" WC Min to 13.8 WC Max

I remember that propane pressure is low on the TM.
Does anyone know if the above unit will work?

Thanks in advance.

Nominal pressure for all low-pressure-propane appliances is 11 inches WC. I'm not sure why you think TM pressure would be out of spec-low, but if it is, you should have a tech adjust the regulator.

Well, I guess my comment was really this. You are looking at a specific cooktop, the Recpro. That cooktop is specified to work with a pressure down to 10 inches WC. You are wondering if this cooktop will work in a TM, where you have heard the pressure is low, which means you are suspicious that the pressure in a TM is 10 inches or less.

First question - where did you hear that pressure in a TM is low at all? Was it a generic rumor about all TMs? Or just one specific TM?
Second question - since the pressure spec is 11 inches, wouldn't 10 inches qualify as "low"?
Third question - wouldn't it make sense to have the pressure checked? A tech at any RV place can do it with a manometer in less than 5 minutes.
Fourth question - are you really prepared to pass up a particular cooktop, and look for another - over this question?

Don't take offense. We're just trying to help here. If you fear that the pressure in YOUR SPECIFIC TM is low, wouldn't it make more sense to get it adjusted to the proper value, rather than looking for stove tops that would work below 10 inches?

Remember, all propane appliances, including the refrig, the furnace, the water heater, and the oven (if you had one) - as well as any low-pressure appliances (grills, etc that you splice into the propane line) - expect to see 11 inches. If the pressure is so low that you are worried about the cooktop, you should also be worried about these other appliances.

I read it on one of the threads here. My apologies if you felt the need to further clarify. I know you know your stuff Bill that's why I am glad you replied to the thread. Now that you gave me all this excellent additional info. I might as well have the pressure checked out...
