Default Leak under sink

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix a leak under the sink in the bathroom. The leak is coming from the hot water elbow. It is very tight quarters but I can get to it. I have never seen plastic piping with a black band like that so I don't know what I should do. Should I cut the elbow out? If so how do I reattach? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Got this fixed by going to Lowes and buying some flare fittings and some new gaskets. Took about an hour to repair and it was a very tight fit. You have to take out the p trap to evern touch the fittings not to mention all the wires that run through there. Frustrating but doable. Now the shower fixture is a different animal. I am stuck but I will call trailmanor tomorrow to find out how to access the faucet.

Thanks for posting the fix, Eric. The fact that no one responded means that no one had done it before - so now we all know something we didn't. That's good.

As for the shower faucet: I had to get at mine once. It was long ago, and my memory is hazy, and it was on my '02 TM, so don't take this as gospel. But I seem to recall that I found a way to remove the shallow box that is on the wall just above the tub faucet. Pry off a piece of trim, then unscrew something? I also recall working at this from the outside, by removing the enclosure for the outside shower.

Sorry I can't be more helpful - it has just been too long, and I didn't take any notes.
