2720SL/open while hitched?

Hello. I am camping at Anza Borrego Desert Park with my 2720SL. We are scheduled to change locations within the campground in a few days. We need to move the TM about 200 meters. I am wondering whether anyone has experience hitching an open TM to a towing vehicle and pulling the TM (while still open) to a nearby location. I know that the safe thing to do is to dissasemble the TM and then move it. However, being somewhat lazy, I am curious to know whether there are any risks or hazards that people have encountered by moving their TM without closing it. Thanks.

I know that the place I've brought it (once) for some service on the toilet moved it while open--maybe 200 feet or so. Haven't found any damage or issue from it.

Depending on your TV you will have to be very careful when turning. SUVs or pickups with covers might damage the front shell if you turn too sharp.

I moved ours around our street to get out of the way of the street sweeper. No problem in a straight line, but be very careful when you turn. I would definitely use a spotter and drive very slowly. Just depends on the amount of clearance you have. By the way, my TM touched the truck but fortunately did no damage. But I learned my lesson and won't do that again...
