Sequence for adjusting the shell
I recently purchased a 2004 3023 in better than average condition. I have noted that it is very hard (especially the front) to open, has a lot of tension on the locking clamps that hold it down (the ones with the d rings you put your foot into to latch) as well as popping off the locking clips that are on all pop ups, ours in each corner.
No doubt it is in dire need of a full "shell tuneup". I don't begrudge the company for its $250 charge, probably money well spent, but it is the 2 days coming and going.
What sequence has everyone used to make adjustments?? By that I mean do you adjust the length of the torsions first, then the torsion and then the stop points?? I have read all of the posts I could find, lots of good info but not this.
Also I did discover how very important level is, quarter bubble off and you have a different beast on your hands.
Thanks for any help you may have to offer.
