Well the weather did it to us again. 12 inches of snow here in Calgary AB a day ago. The nice heavy wet stuff, so we will not go and pick our 2720 up now until Arpril 26 in Saskatoon Saskachewan. A little disspointing but we have to er on the side of safety since it is a 400 mile trip. Wish we had some of that nice Southern neighbour weather up here in Canada at the moment. Will keep things updated.

Be careful of what you wish for, the "nice southern neighbor weather" killed 9 people in Oklahoma and Arkansas last night.

Yes I agree. They can keep that and the hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamies, but I would not mind the Phoenix temps right now. Gettin sick and tired of this long drawn out winter. Feel real sorry for the people that have lost their homes and lifes, and would not want to be in their shoes. Just chomping at the bit to pick up our new trailer.

Default First trips

Seems like a bunch of people are taking the first trips. We are headed out tomorrow in our new to us 3023. We bought it last fall then our trip fell through so it has been keeping part of our driveway dry for 6 months. Headed to Lafayette, LA by way of the Natchez Trace. I have been really pleased with the design and thought in trailer. I am curious as to what the gas mileage will be like. As we live 10 miles from the factory we did a tour before buying. Great group of people and atmosphere. We are doing a quick 2 day trip before the full trip as a shakedown. Anyone ever been to Lafayette?

Lots of good food in Lafayette. At highway speeds in rolling hills of Mississippi today we averaged 13.2 MPG. In flatter land it is closer to 15.\

We got in behind the squall line as it rolled through Mendenhall. Luckily damage was light to the campers at Purgatory despite the hail and wind. Saddily 13 others died that night.

We only heard about that from the reporter at our match. Like most matches we are out of touch except for cell phones...
