Default 2619 or 2720QB before spring/summer

Looking for a 2619 or 2720QB before the 2020 camping season. It needs to have 3 dedicated sleeping areas (bed at each end plus convertible dining table is ideal. 3000lbs or less dry weight is desired. Price is flexible depending on year and condition. Located in central CT and willing to drive 3ish hours or roughly 200miles.

We have 2720 dinette version (NOT for sale, so don't get any ideas )

When we need to sleep 5, I got an army cot that fits between the dinette bed and counter. Yes, it is a little awkward to crawl over the person sleeping in the cot in the middle of the night, but it works. That probably won't work in 20 years for me, but the kids will be grown up by then and doing their own camping.

From an ESTABLISHED member? Maybe. But we get a lot of drive-by For Sale posts here. Also shipping isnít as easy (or as cheap) as youíd imagine. I looked into buying a 3124KB in Montana (Iím in western NY) but the cost to ship was prohibitive. Do a search here, shipping has been talked about a bunch of times.

This one is a stretch, "
https://baltimore.craigslist.org/rvs/d/linthicum-heights-2002-trailmanor-3023/7035064946.html" but with your towing capacity you can put it in the mental hopper of tradeoffs: model, distance, age, cost.

I spent a couple of months searching daily using the searchtempest website to search multiple craigslists before finding our TM. We felt very lucky to be the first inquiry, because it was a gem, and the previous owners had several inquiries quickly.

When we were buying I knew I wanted to get a metal frame model and I don't know if 2002 crosses that threshold. Rust was also something we considered. I'd spent enough time here reading the threads from folks to feel like most other things we could work through repairing, with advice from forum members... except for structural damage to the roof.

This is a great thread with a lot of good info on weight and towing. But it has wandered so far off the original topic - "TM Wanted" - that the original purpose has been lost. So I moved the "weight" part of the discussion to the Tow Vehicles forum, where weight issues are usually addressed, and titled it Honda Ridgeline.

Please feel free to continue the weight discussion there.

Bill

Hello,

I am in the process of putting together an add to sell my 2008 model 2720 TM which I have owned since new. It is in excellent condition and has always been stored under cover. [See the ad in the Eastern Region.]
