Default On the fridge

We recently bought a 2007 3124. The previous owner said the fridge wasnt getting cold. ( Got it for a great price)I noticed he was plugged in the house with a small 14 gauge cord; possible shared circuit. Could it be low amps?

No, the refrig needs only a bit more than 1 amp, and a #14 cord is rated to deliver 15 amps.

Does the refrig get cold on DC (battery) or gas (propane)? Remember that the refrig is very slow to get cold - an hour or so to even begin to sense cold - and the best way to check it is to put your hand on the floor of the freezer compartment. That is where the cold shows up first.

Default Thanks 👍

Thanks Bill. I set it to 120 volt setting.Seems to be getting cold. I will put a temp gauge just to make sure and then run all the modes has, battery etc. We just purchased it yesterday and the guy dropped $1,000.00 off the price. I think we scored. The deep cycle batteries are not holding a good charge. Will need to replace. Maybe he had it on the 12 volt setting...

And coming from a non- mod (and I'm not being paid by Bill or anyone else) this is the only forum I pay for. You also don't have to get over invasive advertising, and we're all friendly.
