Default Galley Hanging Cabinets

My rig does not have the hanging cabinets over the stove or sink. The wall brackets are not there, so the unit was apparently sold without cabinets originally. I called TM a couple of months ago and I'm pretty sure Sonja told me they were ~$600 each. That may remember exactly right, but I remember distinctly that the price scared me away.

My question is if anyone has found an alternative hanging cabinet they could recommend.

The bracket is a combination of the RV table bracket kit:

and the pop up trailer latch:

I'm sure any cabinet would do, or you could make your own using real wood and lighter materials. As for mounting, I would screw the mount into walls that have the wood fibre board only because of the added strength. These include the walls behind the stove and sink.

You could add a narrow cabinet in the bathroom too.

You are right the three cabinets were and maybe are still options.

I would check with someone when they are parting out there TM. There is a post a few times a years where someone is parting out a TM.

The one thing about the TM cabinets is a lot is laminated foam. This does make the larger cabinets lite. I know our larger cabinet, stuffed/filled with dishes, glasses, cups and other stuff. The DW can handle it taking it down. Putting it up she needs me to do it. But she will set it on top of the fridge. 'Im not sure if solid wood, she would not be able to handle it. I'm thinking it reduces the weight by 10- 20 lbs. It's just slightly below her limit.

But yep, any cabinet will hang on the wall.
