How to find campgrounds
Just got my trailmanor. It is used and I want to go to a campground with hookups to test it out.
While I expect to do a fair amount of boondocking, I wanted to know how to find campgrounds, and if there is an organization that tends to have more reliable services?
For next week, I wanted to be in the Riverside county area of California. Preferably in Corona area of Riverside county.
Thanks in advance.
Michael

Campgrounds
We have found that RV Park Review is one of the best for finding and also getting reviews from fellow campers about a particular park or campground. Hope this helps in your future camping plans... this is the hyperlink to the web site: http://www.rvparkreviews.com/

If you camp a lot in CA, I highly recommend Tom Steinstra's book:

We've had three editions now.

There is an option in Google Earth that if you turn it on then it will display the location of campgrounds. But, these all appear to be forest service campgrounds and not rv parks.

Hey these are all great resources! What I found is something I should have known. Prado Regional Park has some full hookups. This is what I want, because they are about 1 mile from the retriever training park I also want to use for my dog.
It also looks like they will be stocking trout while we are there!
Thanks,
Michael

Finding Campgrounds
Try Yahoo Yellow Pages. Click on change location and enter the town close to your desired camping area. Then search on "Camping" or "RV Camping". If you want more results click on "Beyond (TOWN)".
