Wavery- If you REALLY wanna get nuts, dig out the floor in the bathroom and build a tank that is recessed into the floor. Probably have to add some support underneath but that shouldn’t be too hard since the frame rail is right there. That could probably net you an additional 8 gallons or so.

That thought has crossed my mind. I wouldn't mind lowering the toilet seat to about 20 1/2" instead of 22 1/2". That would net me about 19" x 19.5" x 10.5" high for the tank + 12.5" for the toilet. Finished height, for the toilet seat would be 20.5". My wife is sort of short on one end.

That would give us about 17G of holding tank. That would last us 7 days, easily. I just haven't been out there to really survey the area yet.

The black tank in our Class A motorhome was 65G, which is ridiculous. We have gone 2-weeks without dumping and never used anything close to 1/2 tank. Then I had to rinse the tank several times to clean it out and it took 8 minutes of filling the tank with fresh water for each dump. What a PITA that was.

Doesn't seem like scamp has the tanks anymore. They do sell the toilet. I ended up ordering from here:

https://marinesan.com/711-m28-travel...nt=Catch%20All

I pulled out the old toilet and ABS to test fit the Sealand. Looks like it will be a good fit. Had to remove the box around the wheel well and some quarter round near the tub. I'll just shark bite into the lav line and tie into the vent under the lav as well. I pulled the fuse for the toilet but it appears to supply something else as well so that will have to go back. A sawz-all made short work of cutting a shallow pie from the existing hole to line things up. Maybe No-hubs, maybe ABS hardline it back. Now just need a bunch of plumbing parts to hook it all up.

Hello, I was wondering if the Sealand you ordered from Ardemco came with the center drain, or will you be doing modifications?

Thanks,
Jola

Default Ardemco Order

I just ordered the Sealand 711-M28 from Ardemco. The tank they sell is not the M28c. But they will be happy to modify it for you to add the bottom drain. I have attached two pictures of the unit that they just shipped to me. James at Ardemco is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His direct number is 949-722-7672.

They will also leave a vent hole on the top of the tank or seal them up and ship you the grommets with hole saw size information for you to add your vent where you want it (which is what I'm doing).
